Mom’s House News
KITCHEN RENOVATIONS
This past summer, Mom’s House received a much needed kitchen remodel. Our previous kitchen cabinets and floor were very old and damaged.
Since we serve breakfast and lunch for our kids every day, our kitchen is a very busy place and an update was sorely needed. We are so excited about our new clean, functional and attractive space!
Thank you to Steve and Sharon Pinone of Royersford who donated the cabinets and Liz Coyne who donated a new microwave.
A huge thank you goes out to Frank from Pastella Construction for all the labor and additional cabinets. Frank went above and beyond to get our new kitchen ready for use as we opened for our Fall Semester. Pastella Construction (610-792-0110)
LANDSCAPING
Thank you to Tammaro Landscape and Design (610-495-7746) for removing unsightly and overgrown shrubs at the back of the house.
PLAYGROUND CLEANING
Mom’s House was fortunate to have help from a group of students, from Kimberton Waldorf School, to prepare our playground for the new school year.
As part of it’s orientation, KWS encouraged community service projects to assist local organizations.
